A customer’s profile page, explained
What each part of the profile tells you, what the buttons at the top do, and why some restaurants see a Delivery card.
2 min read
Open any customer and you land on their profile: who they are, what they’ve spent, what they usually order, and everything you can do about it without going back to the list.
Top to bottom
- The header — name, segment badge (VIP, regular, new…), phone, email, birthday, and their tags and dietary flags. Its buttons are the same actions as the three dots on the customers list: Edit, Adjust balance and Adjust points, with Merge and Delete under More.
- The facts row under the name — Balance, Lifetime spend, Visits, Avg check, Last visit and Points. If they’re on a meal plan, the Plan tile comes first: what’s left is the thing you’re usually asking.
- Two tabs — Overview and Activity. Everything below is on Overview.
- Plans — if you sell meal plans, their plans sit at the top of Overview.
- Activity — the latest events (orders, balance, loyalty, bookings, notes), with View all opening the full Activity tab, where you can filter by kind.
- Usual order — the items they order most, so a waiter can say “the usual?” and mean it.
- Notes — the running notebook: preferences, complaints, the thing to remember next time.
- Profile — birthday, tags, and allergies & dietary flags.
The Delivery card
Restaurants with Meal plans turned on also see a Delivery card: the address, map pin and preferred time their plan meals go to. Staff can edit it here, or press Request new location so the guest re-pins themselves from their plan link. If you don’t sell plans, the card isn’t shown — there’s nothing for it to do.
TipDelete removes the customer and their loyalty history. If you’re deleting because there are two of them, use Merge instead — it keeps the visits.
