The Menulisa apps

• The POS as a computer app. Exactly one computer per branch is the Main terminal: it keeps a copy of the branch on the computer, so it keeps taking orders, payments and bookings with no internet and syncs when the connection returns. It prints straight to your printers too.
• Every other Mac or PC is an Additional terminal: it finds the main terminal on your Wi‑Fi and gets its screens from it — so it keeps working offline while the main terminal is on. If it can’t find the main terminal but the internet is up, it carries on from the cloud.
• When the internet drops, an amber bar says No internet — “Still selling on this computer.” — and counts the orders waiting to sync.
• It updates itself: a card says the new version is ready, with Restart now, Tonight after close or Skip this version.
• Switch a computer’s role later from the Server menu — Make this the main terminal… or Run as additional terminal….

• The POS in an app, for waiters taking orders at the table. On Android, from version 1.2.0, it keeps its own copy of the branch and works with or without a connection: every tap is saved on the device and sent to the main terminal by itself — through the cloud when it can’t reach it. • On an iPhone or iPad it runs the live POS from the cloud and needs the internet: without it, it shows a clear no-connection screen and reconnects by itself.
• Each Android device chooses how it connects — Automatic, Main terminal or Cloud. See Choose how a tablet connects.
• It rings when a guest calls from their table: the alert has I’ll take it, even on the lock screen once notifications are on. See who gets a guest’s call.
• This phone (or This tablet) in the POS menu holds its name, alert sound, vibration and notifications, Keep the screen on, how it connects, and unpairing.

• Turns an Android tablet into an in-table menu: your live guest menu, full screen, in your languages.
• Set up in three steps — the restaurant (scan any table’s QR), the table, and saving the menu with its photos — so it keeps showing the menu when the Wi‑Fi drops.
• After 90 seconds of no touching it shows a Hungry? waiting screen with your dishes, ready for the next guest.
• Staff hold the table chip for 3 seconds and enter their POS PIN to open the Staff sheet (reload, save photos again, change the table or the restaurant).

1. 1For the POS and the Bridge: open POS › Devices and scroll to Get the apps — macOS, Windows, or Android. An app that isn’t released yet shows Not published yet.
2. 2For the menu tablet: open Menu › QR codes and download Menulisa Menu for Android.
3. 3Mac or Windows: open the app, choose Sign in, pick Main terminal (one per branch) or Additional terminal, and approve it on the dashboard page that opens — Connect a terminal › Approve & connect. The first start of a main terminal takes a few minutes while it copies the branch; leave it open.
4. 4Phone or tablet: open the app, choose Sign in, and scan the QR from POS › Devices › Pair a terminal — or type the code (if the camera doesn’t start, it says Camera unavailable — type the code below; the code boxes are always there). An Android device then says Preparing this tablet (or Preparing this phone) once while it downloads the branch, on the restaurant’s Wi‑Fi.
