Cash rounding
Some currencies have no small change — in Iraq, for example, the smallest note in common use is 250 IQD. Cash rounding nudges a cash total to the nearest note you can actually give as change, so the drawer always balances.
How it works
- You set the smallest denomination you carry (e.g. 250).
- When a guest pays in CASH, the total rounds to the nearest multiple of that amount.
- A bill of 20,300 rounds down to 20,250; 20,400 rounds up to 20,500.
- Card and other payments are never rounded — they always take the exact amount.
Turn it on
- 1Open Dashboard › Setup › Restaurant info.
- 2Switch on cash rounding and enter your smallest denomination.
- 3It's off by default, so nothing changes until you choose to use it.
The rounding is recorded on each order, so your reports always reconcile to the cash you actually took — not the pre-rounding figure.
