Subscriptions & meal plans
A subscription is a standing deal with a guest: a number of meals a month, a member discount, or credit that tops up their account. You define the plan once; the POS keeps the count honest.
How it fits together
- Plans — create packages under Setup › Subscription plans: what's included, the price, and how often it renews.
- Enrolment — add a plan to a guest from their profile (Guests › Customers › Subscriptions tab). The terms are frozen at that moment — later plan edits never change what they bought.
- Redemption — at the POS, tap a covered line and choose the plan; the meal is covered before payment and the balance ticks down.
- The roster — Guests › Subscriptions lists every subscriber: status, what's left, and the next renewal. Rows open the guest's profile.
Keeping it honest
- Every use, adjustment and renewal is a ledger entry you can read on the profile — no number appears without a line explaining it.
- Plans cover items; store credit pays bills. A credit plan tops up the account balance, which is then spent with the Balance tender like any other money.
- Pausing stops new redemptions immediately; cancelling keeps the full history.
Subscriptions are an opt-in feature — if you don't see the pages, ask us to enable them for your restaurant.
