Your Today page
The dashboard’s home screen: what’s happening right now, what needs you, and how today compares.

Dashboard › Today is the first page you see after signing in. It answers three questions in order: what’s happening right now, what needs you, and how today is going.
Top to bottom
- Welcome back — the date, and shortcuts to New Sale, Add Item and New Coupon. The page is restaurant-wide: the branch chip doesn’t filter it.
- Right now — live tiles across every branch: Guest requests, Open checks, In the kitchen, Shift, Stock alerts and Bookings arriving in the next 2 hours. Tap a tile to open it.
- Needs your attention — only what exists today: guest orders waiting, a payment past due, a drawer that closed short or over, stock out or low, deliveries to receive, prep batches expiring, bookings due soon, a printer Bridge offline.
- Finish setting up — your setup checklist, near the top while you’re still getting started and a slim row at the bottom once you’re mostly done.
- Today so far — today’s revenue, orders, average order value and active customers, compared with the same time last week. (Menu-only restaurants see menu views instead.)
- Below: a sales chart, best-selling products, recent orders, today’s orders by kitchen state (New / Preparing / Ready / Served) and your store status.
Where to find it
- 1Open Dashboard › Today. Log expense in the bar at the top jumps to Reports › Expenses.
- 2Next door, Dashboard › Alerts keeps the feed of low stock, cash variances, void spikes and the daily digest.
TipMake it a habit to clear Needs your attention before service. When it’s empty, nothing is waiting on you.
