Restaurant details, then a second branch
Currency and languages once; then a branch with its own address, hours, tax and service charge.

The restaurant is the thing with a name, a currency and languages. A branch is a place with an address, opening hours, tables, staff and a till. One restaurant, as many branches as you open.
The scenario
Downtown opens in a month. It charges a 10% service charge; the original doesn’t. Both show the menu in English, Arabic and Kurdish.
The restaurant, once
- 1Open Settings › Restaurant. Under Restaurant details: Name, Description, Currency (ISO), Timezone, and your Google review URL.
- 2Under Languages, tick the Available languages and set the Default language. Under Links, Add link for your Instagram, WhatsApp, directions or anything guests should reach — they show as icons under the languages on the welcome screen. There’s no tax here: tax, service charge and custom fees are set per branch, in Settings › Branches.
The new branch
- 1Open Settings › Branches and press Add branch. Name Downtown, Address, Phone, and drop the Map pin. Press Create branch — Added “Downtown”.
- 2Press Edit branch on its card: Opening hours per day (set Monday, then Apply Monday to all days — Applied — and mark Closed where it is), and under Charges its own Tax rate (%) and Service charge (%) 10. Your original branch keeps its service charge at 0 in its own Charges.
What you’ll see
- A branch switcher at the top of the dashboard. Tables, staff, POS devices, shifts and reports are all per branch — switch before you set them up.
- A Downtown check carries the 10% service charge as its own line; the original branch’s checks don’t.
- The menu is shared — see a second branch with a shorter menu if Downtown serves less.
TipYour plan sets how many branches you can have. Check Settings › Billing before the lease is signed, not after.
