Adding a customer and finding them again
Save a guest once — from the dashboard or straight from a check — and pull them up in two taps next time.

A customer is just a saved guest: a name, a phone number, and everything Menulisa learns about them afterwards. You can add one calmly from the dashboard, or in the middle of service from the till.
The scenario
Sara comes in most Thursdays. Tonight she mentions a peanut allergy and that she prefers the booth by the window. You want that remembered — and you want her to appear the moment a waiter types “Sar”.
Add her from the dashboard
- 1Open CRM › Customers and press Add customer.
- 2Fill in Name and Phone. Phone is what makes her findable at the till, so don’t skip it.
- 3In Allergies & dietary type Peanut allergy. In Notes type prefers the window booth. Separate several entries with a semicolon.
- 4Press Add. You’ll see Customer added.
Or add her from the POS, mid-service
- 1On an open check, tap Add customer in the top bar.
- 2Search by name or phone. If she’s not there, quick-create her right in that dialog — a name and phone is enough; you can fill in the rest later.
- 3The check now carries her. From here on, her spend counts toward points and her badges show on every check she’s on.
What you’ll see afterwards
- On the POS, a red allergy badge on any check with Sara on it — before the waiter reads the notes.
- On the Customers list, her visits, last visit and total spent filling in on their own after each settled check.
- Typing Sar in the customers search, or her phone number, brings her straight up.
TipCustomers are saved for the whole restaurant, not per branch. Sara at your city branch and Sara at the mall are the same Sara — one profile, one history, one set of points.
