Next week’s roster, and clocking the team in
Schedule shifts, set hourly wages, clock people in and out, and watch labour as a share of sales.

Scheduling is two lists side by side: the shifts you planned, and the hours people actually worked. Put a wage on each person and the page turns both into money — against this week’s sales.
The scenario
Dina works Tuesday to Saturday, 16:00–23:00, at 15.00 an hour. Tuesday she arrives at 15:55.
Plan it
- 1Open Team › Schedule and press Add shift. In Schedule a shift: Staff member Dina, Starts Tuesday 16:00, Ends 23:00, Role (optional), Note (optional). Save. Repeat for the other four nights — the shifts land on This week’s roster. Planning ahead? The arrows beside the page title move a week at a time (This week brings you back), and a shift’s menu has Edit shift and Delete shift.
- 2In the Time clock card, open the ⋯ menu beside Dina and choose Set wage: Hourly wage · Dina, Wage per hour 15.00 — Wage updated. Someone without one shows No wage set.
Tuesday
- 1Dina arrives. On Team › Schedule, open the ⋯ menu beside her name in Time clock and choose Clock in — Clocked in, and the row reads On since 15:55. (Clocking happens here on the dashboard, not on the POS — so whoever runs the shift needs the Scheduling permission.)
- 2At close, Clock out from the same menu — Clocked out. Her actual hours are now a fact, next to the planned ones.
What you’ll see
- At the top: Week of the dates with the hours scheduled, Scheduled wages from the roster, Clocked wages so far from actual clocked hours, and Labor % of sales.
- The Full labor & profit report link takes it further, to Reports › Profit.
TipScheduled wages before the week starts is the number that lets you cut a shift on Wednesday instead of discovering the problem on Sunday.
