What the bell is telling you
Low stock, a cash drawer that came up short, a spike in voids — the four things Menulisa will interrupt you about.

The bell at the top of the dashboard is a feed of the things that deserve a human today. It is deliberately quiet: four kinds of alert, and each one points at a page where you can act.
The four kinds
- Low stock — an item at or under its Reorder ≤ level. Inventory › Stock then offers Reorder 4 low items, which takes you to Purchasing to draft the purchase order.
- Cash variance — a shift closed in the last day with a difference of more than 5 either way, so a drawer 12.50 short at last night’s close is here in the morning.
- Void spike — more than 5 voided lines at one branch today. Usually an oven, occasionally a person.
- Daily digest — yesterday in one card: sales, covers, the headline numbers.
The scenario
Tuesday morning: the bell shows 3. Low stock on cheese and buns; last night’s drawer was 12.50 short.
Work through it
- 1Open Dashboard › Alerts (or tap the bell at the top). The header counts Unread, Critical and In the feed; each row is Info, Warning or Critical.
- 2For the low stock, open Inventory › Stock and press Reorder 2 low items. On Purchasing, New order and Add low-stock items write half the order for you. Send it.
- 3The variance: open Daily close for last night, read the Z-report, decide whether 12.50 is coins or a pattern. Then Mark read — or Dismiss if it needs nothing. Mark all read clears the counter.
TipReorder levels are what make the low-stock alert useful. An item with no Reorder ≤ value never alerts, however empty the shelf.
